Billings West, Billings Skyview earn Friday girls wins

BILLINGS - West High's basketball girls are still unbeatable in conference play and Skyview's young Falcons were able to steal a road win at Billings Senior Friday night.

Willa Albrecht led West with 16 points while twin sister Maddie finished with 12 as top-seeded Bears ran away from second-seeded CMR 64-54. West improves to 14-4 and 11-0 in the Eastern AA with one regular season game remaining Saturday at home against Great Falls High.

CMR (9-8, 7-4) is in a battle with Great Falls for the conference's No. 2 divisional seed.

Meantime, Brooke Berry led Skyview's young girls past cross-town Senior 64-62 Friday. The sophomore led everybody with 23 points followed by M.G. Spotted Bear with 16.

The Falcons (5-6, 7-10) play close the regular season Saturday against Belgrade (0-11, 1-16). Senior finishes 5-7 in conference, 7-11 overall with the Eastern AA Divisional Tournament set for next week in Billings.
