Billings Central girls steamroll Laurel

LAUREL -- The Billings Central girls basketball team rolled past Southeast A rival Laurel in Laurel on Tuesday night, 64-34.

Billings Central sophomore Mya Hansen made her return to Laurel after leading the Locomotives to the State A tournament and being named all-state her freshman year. Hansen poured in 22 points to lead the Rams past her former team.

Laurel hung with Billings Central through the first eight minutes, trailing 16-11, but Central held the Locomotives to just three second-quarter points to hold a 30-14 halftime advantage.

Billings Central moves to 16-2 overall as it concludes its regular season. Laurel falls to 12-6.
