MANHATTAN — Manhattan Christian faced off against Gardiner in girls and boys basketball on Saturday, and the undefeated Eagles teams sent the Bruins back to hibernation.

The Lady Eagles dominated from the beginning, jumping out to a 34-16 lead at the half and ended up winning 66-26.

Eagles junior Kiersten Van Kirk had a game-high 18 points with 8 rebounds. Coming off a double-double on Friday night against Three Forks, senior Eliana Kuperus came up one rebound short, finishing with 14 points and 9 boards.

Over in the boys game, the outcome was eerily similar.

The Eagles started out playing blistering offense and defense which set them up with a 16-0 lead just minutes into the game. They went on to win 76-33.

Eagles' sophomore Seth Amunrud had a game-high 24 points.
