GREAT FALLS — Drew Wyman scored 23, Levi Torgerson added 17 and the Great Falls High Bison ran away from rival Great Falls CMR 64-48 in Eastern AA boys basketball action Tuesday at Swarthout Fieldhouse.

After a back-and-forth first quarter, the Bison controlled much of the rest of the game, allowing just five second-quarter points to take a 33-17 lead into the break. That 16-point margin proved to be the difference.

Ten Rustlers found their way into the scoring column, led by Keegan Barnes with 11 points.

Wyman said the Bison will use the game to springboard into the weekend, and he added that the crosstown environment helped bring out a little extra for his team.

"Oh man, I’m so excited. We got some nice momentum heading into our next game now, so that’s good. Just got to keep the wins coming," Wyman said. "I've got to give a lot of credit to the crowd. They brought a lot of energy for us (Tuesday). I love it. I love it. They bring the energy. It helps us play, we move the ball faster, we just get more energy going. I love it."

Great Falls High moves to to 7-1 overall, 2-0 in Eastern AA.

CMR falls to 2-5 overall and 1-1 in conference.
