GREAT FALLS — After a difficult run through the regular season, the Great Falls CMR boys beat Bozeman 57-52 in the finale, picking up some momentum heading into the Eastern AA divisional tournament next week.
CMR opened the game on a 10-1 run, and continued to capitalize on numerous Bozeman turnovers throughout the first half. CMR took a 30-14 lead into the break, then held off a strong comeback effort from the Hawks.
Tristan Suden led the Rustlers with 11 points, while Brett Clark dropped 20 for Bozeman.
CMR moves to 5-13, 3-9. Bozeman falls to 10-8, 6-6.
