BELGRADE — Belrade hosted rival Bozeman for an Eastern AA boys basketball showdown at the Belgrade Special Events Center Friday.
The Hawks narrowly escaped a back-and-forth first quarter with a one-point lead but poured it on in the second en route to a 69-42 win.
The flood gates opened for the reigning State AA champions in the second quarter as they built a 32-18 lead into the break.
The Panthers never recovered, and the Hawks cruised to the double-digit win.
