No. 15 Providence Argos drop 1-0 match to Dakota College at Bottineau

GREAT FALLS — Dakota College at Bottineau scored their lone goal of the game at the 11-minute mark in the first period to lift the No. 11 Lumberjacks (4-3) to a 1-0 win over the No. 15 Argos (3-3-1) on Saturday afternoon.

University of Providence led the match in shots, outshooting Dakota College at Bottineau 32-29.

The Lumberjacks were able to tally an unassisted goal in the opening period, which would prove to be the game-winner for the Lumberjacks.

Josh Larsen, Eric Gatson, Cody Hendrickson, Leo Felt, and Jamison McLain all tallied five shots each to combine for 25 of the Argos 32 shots.

The Argos continue their homestand as they host the Montana Tech Orediggers on Friday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. and then host the Montana State University Bobcats on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m.
