BILLINGS — Rocky Mountain College head women’s basketball coach Wes Keller announced Wednesday that Destinee Pointer will join the Battlin’ Bears for the 2018-19 season.

Pointer is a transfer guard from Chicago State University. During her sophomore season, she averaged seven points and three rebounds per game with 20 starts. She ranked second on the team in total steals.

Pointer earned a 3.3 GPA at Chicago State University.

“Destinee is a quick and athletic guard with high basketball IQ,” said Keller. “She has the ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor and we are excited to see her progress over the next two seasons.”

Pointer averaged 16 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals per game at Waxahachie High School in Waxahachie, Texas. She was named First Team All-District and All-Region by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.
