BILLINGS — Rocky Mountain College head women’s basketball coach Wes Keller announced Friday that Leah Gannon will join the women’s basketball program for the fall of 2019.

From Fort Benton High School, Gannon is a two-time all-state basketball selection. A multi-sport athlete, Gannon was selected all-conference in basketball and volleyball, while also producing a decorated high school career in track & field.

“Leah is one of the better all-around athletes in the state of Montana. She is also a tremendous student in the classroom,” said Keller. “We are excited that she has decided to focus on basketball at the next level and we look forward to her having a great career here at Rocky.”

Gannon earned academic all-state honors for four straight years in basketball, volleyball and track and field. She was awarded Fort Benton’s Longhorn Award for going above and beyond the call of service, scholarship and citizenship during her junior year.

She plans to pursue a degree in chemistry. She is the daughter of Steve and Peggy Gannon.
