BILLINGS – Rocky Mountain College head men’s basketball coach Bill Dreikosen announced Wednesday that Scott Malikie has signed a letter of intent to join the program in the fall.

Malikie joins the Battlin’ Bears from Sentinel High School in Missoula. The 6-foot-4 power forward averaged 11.1 points and five rebounds per game as a Spartan. He shot 66.7 percent from the field on his way to a first-team all-state selection for the 2018-19 season.

“Scott is a very good athlete who works extremely hard. We like how efficient he is, shooting 67 percent from the field, and his 3.8 GPA speaks for itself,” said Dreikosen. “His best basketball is yet to come and we believe he will improve a lot in the coming years in our program.”

Malikie is the son of Michael Malikie and Kathi Descharme.
