Rocky Mountain College men win in overtime, take over 2nd in Frontier Conference

BILLINGS – Rocky Mountain College started fast and finished strong Saturday night to take over sole possession of second place in the Frontier Conference men’s basketball standings with an 84-81 overtime win over Lewis-Clark State College.

Jared Samuelson led the Bears with 29 points and 13 rebounds. Former Billings West teammate Danny Betcher added 14 points and six rebounds, while Lukas Vining added 11 points and played 38 minutes.

Dana Abe led four Warriors in double figures with 18 points.

Rocky is now 6-4 in the Frontier, one game ahead of the Warriors, Providence, and Montana State-Northern, who sit at 5-5. Carroll leads the standings at 9-1.
