Rocky Mountain College punter named 1st-team All-American; Rice adds another honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rocky Mountain College is proud to announce that Ryder Rice and Matt Larson were selected to the 2018 AP NAIA Football All-America teams.

Larson, a senior punter from Las Vegas, Nev., was named to the 2018 AP NAIA All-America First Team. He was ranked No. 1 in the entire NAIA for punt yards per attempt with 42.3.

Rice, a junior defensive end from Savage, Mont., was named to the 2018 AP NAIA All-America Second Team. Rice recorded 56 tackles, 17 tackles for a loss, and 12.5 sacks in the 2018 season. He led the conference in total sacks, tackles for a loss, and tackles for a loss per game. Rice was ranked No. 6 in total sacks and No. 8 in sacks per game in the NAIA.
