KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Rocky Mountain College maintained its No. 6 ranking in the latest NAIA Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, which was released Tuesday.

The Battlin’ Bears, who are 13-1 this season, are the highest-ranked Frontier Conference team in the poll. Rocky has won 12 consecutive games since a five-set loss to College of Idaho, which is ranked 12th, on Aug. 15. Rocky started conference play with a sweep of Montana Western and a four-set win over Carroll College last week.

Montana Tech is also ranked, with the Orediggers climbing three spots to No. 20 this week. The Diggers are 10-6 and have won four consecutive games, including matches against the University of Providence and Montana State-Northern to begin conference play.

Providence, which was ranked 15th last week, slipped from the top 25. The Argos are among the teams receiving votes, sitting one place behind Carroll College. The Saints earned the 28th-most votes.

Park (Mo.) held on to its No. 1 ranking, taking 19 of the 20 first-place votes. Grand View (Iowa) received the other first-place vote and sits second in the NAIA rankings. Columbia (Mo.), Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) and Viterbo (Wis.) round out the top five, which was unchanged from last week.
