DILLON – The Rocky Mountain College women’s volleyball team opened Frontier Conference play with a three-set win over Montana Western Friday.
The Battlin’ Bears collected their eighth sweep of 2018. They are now 12-1 on the season.
Olivia L’Ami led Rocky with nine kills, while Daniella Russell and Miranda Gallagher each picked up eight. Hailey Copinga also recorded eight kills, to go along with 18 digs on defense.
Natalie Hilderman orchestrated 31 assists and 17 digs.
Rocky continues conference play Saturday with an afternoon match at Carroll College, before returning home Tuesday to play crosstown rival, MSU Billings.
