Rocky Mountain College leads 3 Frontier Conference teams in NAIA volleyball poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Rocky Mountain College, which has started the 2018 volleyball season winning 11 of its first 12 matches, is ranked sixth in the latest NAIA Women’s Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, which was released Tuesday. The University of Providence and Montana Tech are also ranked.

The Battlin’ Bears were unranked in the previous edition of the poll but vaulted into the top 10 with 10 consecutive wins. Rocky last lost to College of Idaho, which is ranked 14th, and has wins over ranked teams Westmont (Calif.), Eastern Oregon, Dordt (Iowa), Northwestern (Iowa) and Bellevue (Neb.).

Providence also began the season unranked, but the Argos climbed to No. 15 with a 7-1 start this season. Montana Tech, which started the year ranked 12th, slipped to No. 23 by virtue of its 6-5 record thus far.
