DILLON — This Saturday will mark the end to Montana Western’s spring football season as the Bulldogs host their annual spring game.

The game will be an important day for the coaching staff and the guys competing to move their way up the depth chart heading into the summer and fall. Saturday’s scrimmage will be live and officiated, so the full-speed game situation will give everyone, including the coaching staff, a dose of what to expect from this year’s squad.

“This is it, this is their last time to prepare themselves like a game and give themselves a game-like experience and give us a game film, basically, to review of them,” said head coach Ryan Nourse. “Some of our older guys won’t play as much. We’re going to look at the guys that we are going to get that last bit of video on, that last bit of exposure and experience, to see how they’ve grown through the spring and give them their shot at doing that.”
