Montana Western falls just short against Eastern Oregon

CALDWELL, Idaho – The Montana Western Bulldogs fell just short in the Taco Bell Shootout on Friday, losing to Eastern Oregon 71-67.

Kooper Kidgell led the way for the Bulldogs with 18 points and four rebounds. Cedric Boone chipped in 12 points and four rebounds, and Troy Scott grabbed 10 rebounds to lead all Bulldogs in that category.

Jarek Schetzle led the way for EOU with 16 points and 13 rebounds. The Bulldogs will play again Saturday against the College of Idaho. Tipoff is at 7 p.m.
