Montana Western’s Dylan Fowler earns 3rd consecutive player of the week award

WHITEFISH — Dylan Fowler continued her sensational senior season, earning her third consecutive Frontier Conference volleyball defender of the week honor. The league announced its players of the week on Monday.

Fowler, a 5-foot-5 libero from Belgrade, averaged 7.08 digs per set and recorded a 95 percent serving percentage and 98 percent passing percentage for the Bulldogs at the Best Western Heritage Inn Fall Classic in Great Falls. Western lost to Mayville (N.D.) State 3-1, Benedictine-Mesa (Ariz.) 3-0 and Medicine Hat (Alberta, Canada) College 3-2 in an exhibition match.

Lewis-Clark State College’s Rachel Gregg and Lauren West were named the attacker and setter of the week, respectively. Gregg averaged 4.64 kills per set with a .330 hitting percentage, and West averaged 10.45 assists and 1.91 digs per set. The Warriors went 3-0 at the Best Western Plus Heritage Inn Classic in Great Falls.
