BUTTE — Montana Tech heads to Dillon for a men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader against rival Montana Western on Thursday.
The fourth-ranked Bulldog women have had no problem in their two wins against the Diggers this season. On the men’s side, Tech has gotten the better of the Bulldogs in their two games.
Tech head coach Adam Hiatt and his team are no strangers to tough road games this year. For them, they see it as just another game.
“One of the advantages that a lot of teams have that we don’t, is they get multiple games in a row at home. It’s been a tough thing for us this year. There’s nine weekends in conference play and we’re on Week 8, and, of the eight weeks, seven of them we’ve had to travel and play a road game, seven of the eight weeks. Been a really crazy schedule for us,” said Hiatt. “They’ve been playing really well at home, this is the last week of their home-stand. They have our full attention, for sure. They have really good players down there, they’re playing hard and we expect a good game.”
