WHITEFISH – Montana Tech’s Sabrina Hopcroft was named the Frontier Conference defender of the week on Monday.
No. 23 Montana Tech (10-6, 2-0) started the Frontier Conference season 2-0 with victories over the University of Providence and Montana State-Northern last week.
Hopcroft, a 5-foot-7 junior libero, averaged six digs per set. She recorded a 95 percent serving percentage with one ace.
Montana Tech hosts a pair of matches this week on Kelvin Sampson Court. Montana Western travels to Butte on Thursday and Rocky Mountain College is set for Saturday. Both matches start at 7 p.m.
