HELENA — The Frontier Conference named Kelsey Bassett its field athlete of the week on Monday.
Bassett, a freshman from Granite Falls, Wash., qualified for the NAIA national meet this past weekend in Nampa, Idaho. With a vault of 3.65 meters, Bassett hit the A-Standard and placed fourth overall in a talented field that included NCAA Division I schools. It’s the sixth-best mark in the NAIA.
The Saints’ final regular-season meet is Feb. 15 in Bozeman.
