Carroll College’s Mundel, Rocky Mountain College’s Petsch runners of the week

WHITEFISH — Samantha Mundel of Carroll College was named the Frontier Conference women’s cross country runner of the week, the league announced Monday.

Mundel, a senior, finished first out of 27 runners in the 4K at the Carroll College Early Bird Open with a time of 14 minutes, 55 seconds. Mundel is a Columbia Falls High School graduate.

Rocky Mountain College’s Isaac Petsch, a senior from Billings West, earned the men’s honor. Petsch won the 6K at the Carroll College Early Bird Open with a time of 19:28. It was his first collegiate cross country win.
