Day 2 of Battle of the Rockies wrestling duals brings exciting championships

GREAT FALLS – The second and final day of the Battle of the Rockies Wrestling duals was held at the University of Providence on Saturday. The day brought some exciting championships.

MSU-Northern’s Isaac Bartel won the 197-pound championship against Providence’s John Hensley in a 6-3 decision.

Northern’s Andrew Bartel won the 165-pound championship against redshirt freshman Jordan Komac from UP.

Argos redshirt junior Shonn Roberts fell to McKendree’s Isaiah Kemper in the 149-pound championship in a 13-6 decision.

Argos freshman TJ Baun lost to Bat-Erdene Boldmaa from Northwest Tech in the 141-pound championship in a 11-8 decision.

And Matt Hopkins from Providence wrestled in the heavyweight championship.
