Montana Western’s Dylan Fowler, Providence’s Paige Jensen take Frontier Conference honors

WHITEFISH — Montana Western’s Dylan Fowler and the University of Providence’s Paige Jensen were named the Frontier Conference defender and setter of the week, respectively. Rocky Mountain College’s Olivia L’Ami was named the attacker of the week. The league announced the volleyball awards on Monday.

Fowler is a 5-foot-5 senior libero from Belgrade. The Bulldogs were 0-2 for the week. Western lost at No. 20 Montana Tech 3-0 and at Lewis-Clark State 1-3. Fowler averaged eight digs per set. She leads the conference and the nation in digs with 7.08 per set.

Jensen is a 5-9 senior setter from Auburn, Calif. The Argos were unbeaten for the weekend with home wins over MSU-Northern 3-0 and Carroll College 3-1. Jensen averaged 9.86 assists and 3.71 digs per set.
