HELENA – Carroll College volleyball coach Moe Boyle announced the signing of middle hitter Paige Wollan of Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley, Washington.

Wollan, at 6-foot, is a three-year letterwinner in volleyball and track and field and a two-year All-Greater Spokane League First-Team honoree.

“We are very excited that Paige chose Carroll,” Boyle said. “She is a very good player with a lot of great competitive experience in high school and club. Paige is a big presence at the net with a heavy arm and a strong swing.”

Along with her stellar high-school career, Wollan played high-level club volleyball. She was on two regional championship teams and played in the club national tournament.

She isn’t new to Helena — she has family that live in the area — but in the end, she was excited to play for Boyle, on a team with a strong tradition.

“Coach Moe was very welcoming and made the recruiting process stress free,” Wollan said. “I’ve heard positive things about Carroll, and after visiting the campus, I fell in love with the scenery and the facilities. I am also very excited about the academic opportunities.”

Wollan also brings a strong resume in the classroom where she carries a 3.65 GPA and was named the GSL Fall Student-Athlete of the Year.

“She is a quality student and works hard both in and out of the classroom,” Boyle said. “She was highly recruited and we are thrilled that she chose to become a Saint.”
