Rocky Mountain College’s Eryn Ellis 31st at NAIA Championships

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Eryn Ellis has finised tied for 31st at the 2018 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship after the final round of play was cancelled Friday due to heavy rain. Ellis had completed 12 holes of her fourth round on The Champion course at PGA National before the round was wiped out due to the storm.

Behind a 7-over, 79, on Thursday, Ellis was able to climb into a tie for 31st at 237 (+21). She was hoping to make a run at a spot on the All-Tournament Team with a solid final round performance. In the three rounds of play, Ellis made five birdies and 30 pars.

After missing the cut on Wednesday, Rocky officially finishes 18th in the field of 30. The Battlin’ Bears finished with 656 strokes and were five shots off the cut line.
