HELENA – Carroll College forward and Second-Team All-American Hannah Dean has been selected to have her jersey displayed in the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame Ring of Honor in recognition of her outstanding play for the 2017-18 season.

Dean is the third player in Carroll history to earn the honor — the other two being Torrie Cahill in 2012-13 and Katie Estey in the 2015-16 season.

The Ring of Honor displays jerseys from 100 players from across the range of all divisions of women’s college basketball.

“I am very excited to have Hannah’s No. 24 jersey hanging in the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame representing Carroll College and Saints Athletics,” head coach Rachelle Sayers said. “It will be the third time this has happened for us here at Carroll College. There are only 100 that hang there every year, which includes All-American’s from all divisions from NCAA to Junior College, so it is a huge honor. I am very proud of Hannah, she works her tail off and is very deserving of this honor.”

Dean led the Saints in every major statistical category and led the Saints to the first Frontier title in over a decade. She earned Frontier Conference first-team honors for her efforts.
