GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Unseasonal amounts of snow continue to haunt University of Providence softball as a snowstorm on the night before the Argos were set to begin its senior day weekend series against Northwest Christian University has led to the whole series being moved to Missoula, Montana. The four-game series was supposed to be doubleheaders on Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14 and would have been the team’s first home games of the season.

Instead, the series will be abbreviated to three games, all of which will be played at Grizzly Softball Field in Missoula on Saturday, April 14. Games will be at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m.

The postponement and relocation of the series means that for the first time in program history, the Lady Argos won’t play a game at home throughout the course of a season. They have played three of their home series in Missoula and one in Pasco, Washington.

UP is still scheduled to play a doubleheader against Carroll College on Sunday, April 15 to make up a series that was postponed in early March.
