WHITEFISH – The Frontier Conference announced today that Carrie Cota of the Rocky Mountain College track & field team has been named the Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

At the Stinger Open meet over the weekend, Cota competed in five individual events (60-meter hurdles, long jump, shot put, high jump and 800-meter) and running the anchor leg of Rocky’s winning 4×400 relay team. She also set a personal best with 2,318 points in the pentathlon.

This is the first Frontier weekly award won by Cota this season. She is the third Rocky women to earn a weekly honor, joining Corinne Hamilton (January 15) and Rita Marshall (January 29).
