Montana Western’s Zaccheus Darko-Kelly named Frontier Player of the Week

WHITEFISH — Zaccheus Darko-Kelly of Montana Western was named the Frontier Conference’s Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Darko-Kelly is a 6-foot-6 sophomore forward from Missoula. 10th- ranked Montana Western went 2-0 for the weekend. At home, the Bulldogs edged Montana Tech 71-67 and on the road beat No. 19 Lewis-Clark State 98-83.

Darko-Kelly averaged 24.5 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals per game. He was 15 of 28 from the field (54 percent), 6 of 10 3-point field goals (60 percent) and was 13 of 16 from the free throw line.
