WHITEFISH — Hannah Porch of Carroll College was named the Frontier Conference women’s indoor field athlete of the week, the league announced Monday.
Porch, a junior from Missoula, tied for first in the long jump at the Boise State Challenge in Boise, Idaho last week, marking a jump of 5.45 meters. The 19-person field includes athletes from NCAA Division I and II, as well as NAIA jumpers.
Lewis-Clark State won the conference’s other track and field weekly awards. Ariel Jensen was named the women’s indoor track athlete of the week, while Joel Boozer and Tyler Blakely won the men’s indoor track and field athlete of the week honors, respectively.
