Montana Western’s Brianna King wins 3rd consecutive Frontier player of the week award

WHITEFISH — Brianna King of Montana Western was named the Frontier Conference’s Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.

King is a 5-foot-5 junior guard from Spokane, Wash. This past weekend, the 24th-ranked Bulldogs went 2-0. At home, Western edged (RV) Lewis-Clark State 60-57 and on the road, beat Montana Tech 67-56.

King averaged 22 points, eight rebounds, five assists, 3.5 steals and 1.5 blocks. She was 16 of 39 from the field and 8 of 11 from the free throw line.
