DILLON — The Montana Western football team continues to add to its 2018 recruiting class, picking up an MVP-caliber commitment from an Idaho high school.
Sugar Salem High School’s Dylan Pope announced on social media that he would be taking his talents to Dillon next season. The future Bulldog is a 5-foot-11 running back and safety who won his conference’s MVP award as a senior (Mountain Rivers Conference).
Pope grabbed seven interceptions, blocked three punts, and recovered two fumbles during his senior season. On offense, the back totaled 719 yards and six touchdowns.
