Brandon Jones takes home 1st Frontier player of the week honor

WHITEFISH — Brandon Jones of Montana Western was named the Frontier Conference’s Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Jones is a 6-foot-5 junior forward from Houston, Texas. 8th-ranked Montana Western was 1-1 for the weekend. At home, the Bulldogs lost to No. 19 Lewis-Clark State 96-101 in double overtime and on the road edged Montana Tech
75-71.

Jones averaged 20 points, 15 rebounds and one block. He was 14 of 30 from the field including 2 of 4 3-point field goals and was 10 of 16 from the free throw line.
