Montana Western women win 7th straight game; knock off Lewis-Clark State

DILLON — The Montana Western Bulldogs opened a four game home stand against Lewis and Clark State College. A fast start propelled the Bulldogs as they held on to hard fought 60-57 win. The Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead, but the offense could not maintain the intensity and the Warriors would fight their way back into the game. With just five minutes left in the game the Warriors cut the lead to just two points. In the final seconds Brianna King would come up with a huge turnover. She then sunk two hug free throws and come up with a steal tp secure the win.

Stars of the Game
The Bulldogs were led by Brianna King who scored 16 points to go along with 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals.
Cierra Lamey had a double-double scoring 15 points, and pulling down 10 rebounds.
Britt Cooper had her fifth double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 boards.
Tori Anderson scored 11 points.

The Bulldogs had two players record a double-double.

The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs improved to 18-6 overall and 8-4 in the Frontier. The Warriors fell to 13-9 overall and 4-7 in conference play.
