Montana Western men upset in double overtime

DILLON — The 8th-ranked Bulldogs welcomed the 19th-ranked Lewis-Clark State College Warriors to the Straugh Gymnasium Saturday night and fell in an instant classic 101-96 in double overtime. The Bulldogs would come out hot knocking down their first four treys to give them a 25-14 led halfway through the first half. The Warriors would go away quietly, trimming the Bulldog lead to 44-42 at the intermission. The Warriors took their first lead in the game at the 10:31 mark. LC would lead all the way to the 3:49 mark in the game were a triple from Zaccheus Darko-Kelly would tie the game at 78. LC had the ball with 10.7 seconds left with the score board reading 84 to 84. The Bulldogs would make a stand with a steal by Brandon Jones to send this one to overtime. 45 minutes wasn’t enough as the two teams battled each other in to second extra session. The game could have gone either way, The Warriors escaped with the win.

The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs fell to 18-5 overall and 8-4 in conference. The Warriors improved to 18-6 overall and 7-5 in conference play.
