Frontier Conference announces academic all-conference volleyball; Carroll College leads with 12

WHITEFISH — The Frontier Conference announced its 2017 volleyball academic all-conference selections on Tuesday. Commissioner Kent Paulson released the list of student-athletes in a press release.

To be eligible for the honor, students must be at least a sophomore and maintain a 3.0 grade point average, while being enrolled at the school for the previous two semesters.

Carroll College, led by coach Maureen Boyle, led the league with 12 selections. Seven of the 12 student-athletes were native Montanans, while eight were underclassmen.

Rocky Mountain College and the University of Providence tied for second on the list with nine selections, while Montana Tech had eight athletes honored. Montana Western saw six student-athletes recognized, and MSU-Northern had five.

Twenty-six of those honored hailed from Montana. The complete list can be found below.
