WHITEFISH – The Carroll College track and field team captured three of four Frontier Conference athlete of the week honors after a strong showing at the MSU Invite in Bozeman Friday.
Chris Emter received Frontier male field athlete of the week honors, Bryce Green was the male track athlete of the week and Hannah Porch was the female field athlete of the week.
Emter took third in the shot put against NCAA Division I and Division II competition. He threw 52 feet, 8.75 inches.
Green ran a personal best of 8.73 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles. He won his heat and took second overall against NCAA DI and DII competition.
Porch had a great meet on the track but was honored for her long jump of 18 feet, 1.75 inches. She took second by just half an inch.
The Saints are back in action on Feb. 2-3 at the Mountain States Games in Pocatello, Idaho.
