WHITEFISH – Caulin Bakalarski of MSU-Northern was named the Frontier Conference’s men’s basketball player of the week, the league announced Monday.
Bakalarski is a 6-foot-3 junior guard from Olalla, Wash. Northern went unbeaten for the weekend with two home conference wins, defeating the University of Providence 74-63 and Montana Tech 71-63.
Bakalarski averaged 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in the two wins. He was 10 of 16 from the field (63 percent), including three of six from 3-point range, and connected on all eight of his attempts from the free throw line.
