Montana Tech vs. Providence men’s basketball game suspended due to dislodged rim

Below is the University of Providence media release explaining that the backboard was dislodged during the Montana Tech vs. University of Providence men’s basketball game tonight due to a dunk. The game was immediately halted.

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Due to an equipment related issue that could not be immediately or timely resolved, the men’s basketball game between the University of Providence and Montana Tech has been indefinitely suspended. The issue developed during halftime of the game.
The if, when, and where the game will be replayed or finished is to be determined. When there are more details available they will be shared.
