WHITEFISH -- University of Providence senior guard Jenna Randich was named the Frontier Conference women's basketball player of the week, the league announced on Monday.

Randich, a 5-foot-7 guard from Olympia, Wash., scored 22 points to go with four steals and three assists in the Argos' 103-60 season-opening win over Mount Royal University.

Randich made eight of 10 field goals, including a 5-for-7 performance from beyond the 3-point line. It was the first game she played in 10 months after missing a majority of last season with an ACL tear.

"It makes me feel that everything I did this summer and the past year has been worth it," she said. "I'm happy that I was able to find a groove and I was able to feel how it was like to be on the court again with my team again. It was awesome."

Randich and Providence face Salish Kootenai on Oct. 28 with the tipoff set for noon.
