Rocky Mountain College's Kloie Thatcher named player of the week

WHITEFISH – Kloie Thatcher of Rocky Mountain College was named the Frontier Conference’s Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Thatcher is a 5-foot-7 sophomore from Butte.

Rocky won its only game of the Thanksgiving weekend with a 74-61 road win over Dickinson State. Thatcher scored a career-high 31 points. She also grabbed seven rebounds and recorded four steals with one assist and one blocked shot. Thatcher was 9 of 21 from the field and 11 of 14 from free throw line.

Rocky (5-1) plays a Frontier Conference game at Providence (6-1) on Thursday. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the McLaughlin Center.
