BILLINGS - Rocky Mountain College head women's volleyball coach Yang Yang announced Friday that Daphne Boyd signed a Letter of Intent to join the Battlin' Bears for the 2020 season.

From Las Vegas, Nev., the 5-foot-7-inch outside hitter will join the Battlin' Bears from Centennial High School. A multi-sport athlete, Horton played volleyball, golf, and flag football for the Bulldogs.

"We are excited to have Daphne join the team," said Yang. "She's a competitor and a versatile athlete because she has played so many different sports. She knows how to compete like a Battlin' Bear."

Boyd plans to pursue a degree in biology while attending Rocky Mountain College.

"Rocky Mountain College is the perfect fit for me," said Boyd. "I love the atmosphere and every aspect of the school. From the athletics to the academics, each part is perfect."
