ASHLAND, Ore. -- Hykeem Massey scored a 5-yard touchdown with 1:12 left in the game to help lift Southern Oregon to a 21-14 win over Rocky Mountain College on Saturday.

The Battlin' Bears had tied the game earlier in the fourth quarter when John Tia returned a blocked field goal 62 yards for a touchdown. Josh Kraft ran in the two-point conversion to tie the game at 14-14 with just more than nine minutes to play.

The teams traded bad offensive possessions throughout most of the fourth quarter, but SOU was able to put together a seven-play, 66-yard drive for the go-ahead touchdown. Rocky was able to get the ball to the SOU 20 with two seconds left in the game, but the Bears' last-ditch effort fell incomplete.

The Raiders built a 14-0 lead on their home field thanks to two Wyatt Hutchinson touchdown passes in the first quarter. Hutchinson, who finished the game 12-of-23 passing for 177 yards, first connected with Parker Randle for a 28-yard score and then found C. Graney for a 31-yard TD.

Rocky answered in the second quarter with a 6-yard touchdown pass from Drew Korf to Kraft.

Korf completed 22 of 44 pass attempts for 218 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the loss. The Battlin' Bears couldn't muster much on the ground, either, totaling just 94 yards on 31 carries.

Massey finished with 120 yards on 21 carries for SOU, which won its second consecutive Frontier Conference game after starting the season 0-4. The Raiders (2-4 overall, 2-3 conference) next travel to Eastern Oregon.

Rocky (2-4, 1-4) is at Montana State-Northern next week.
