BILLINGS — The day has finally come for Rocky Mountain College's basketball teams to christen the Fortin Center's new floor Wednesday, in the perfect way - a doubleheader against rival Carroll.

Rocky's men will need all the home opening juice they can muster against a Saints squad that has won seven in a row and tops the Frontier. The women's winner meanwhile will take over the conference lead, as Rocky, Carroll, and Western currently sit tied at 3-1.

"Every team in our league is good," said Rocky women's head coach Wes Keller. "It's kind of weird how it does work out that it is Carroll. Carroll's got a very very nice basketball team - I see them finishing in the top two or three of the league this year, and it'll be a good measuring stick to see where we're at."

"Anytime there's a rivalry game, you always get a little more up for it, and especially with the opening of the new court, we're all excited for it," added Rocky men's guard Lukas Vining.

"They've always had a great squad that goes up against us," said Rocky forward Grant Wallace. "What better way for us to go up against a great team and hopefully get our first win on this court."

The women kick off the doubleheader at 5:30 p.m. with the men set for 7:30 p.m.
