RMC volleyball tops Tech in four sets, completes sweep

BUTTE — Kyra Oakland had 14 kills and Morgan Allen added 10 as the Rocky Mountain College volleyball squad downed Montana Tech in four sets 25-19, 25-17, 15-25, 27-25 on Saturday at the HPER Complex to complete a two-match sweep over the Orediggers.

Natalie Hilderman supplied 42 assists for the Battlin' Bears (12-1) and Ayla Embry had a match-high 36 digs.

Tech (4-8) was led by a 19-kill performance from Karina Mickelson and 16 from Maureen Jessop. McKenna Kaelber had 19 digs and 43 assists.

Rocky Mountain plays a non-conference match against MSU Billings on Wednesday before hosting Providence for a doubleheader on Friday and Saturday. The Orediggers travel to Havre for a doubleheader against MSU-Northern.
