GREAT FALLS – The University of Providence men's wrestling program announced the signing of Alan Badley from Friday morning.

Badley, originally from Everett, Wash., transferred from North Idaho College, where he was a National Qualifier. In high school, he was a state finalist his senior year and won four district titles. He also played football and lacrosse in high school.

"We are really excited to have Alan joining our program," head coach Steve Komac said. "Alan's experience at the National Tournament and having one year of college under his belt will bring maturity to our room and will help replace some of the experience we lost with our graduating class. We are excited to have Alan joining us at U.P."

Badley plans to study accounting at Providence.
