Providence, Rocky Mountain College athletes net Frontier Conference volleyball honors

WHITEFISH – Rocky Mountain College and University of Providence student-athletes were selected the Frontier Conference volleyball players of the week on Monday. No. 24 Providence went 2-0 in its weekend road series against Montana Western, winning 3-2 on Friday and 3-0 on Saturday. Meanwhile, No. 18 Rocky swept its home series against MSU-Northern, sweeping both matches.

Attacker of the Week: Renae Davis of University of Providence is a 5-foot-8 senior setter from Pleasant View, Utah. Davis averaged 3.75 kills with an attack percentage of .407.

Defender of the Week: Ayla Embry of Rocky Mountain College is a 5-4 sophomore libero from Bozeman. Embry averaged six digs per set.

Setter of the Week: Cydney Finberg-Roberts of the University of Providence is a 5-11 junior setter from Columbia Falls. Finberg-Roberts averaged 13 assists and 2.50 digs per set.
