KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The University of Providence is ranked ninth in the NAIA women's wrestling coaches top 20 poll, which was released on Nov. 19. Nine Argos are included in the individual rankings.

Two more Montanans -- Glory Konecny of Billings and Morgan Ayers of Highwood -- are also ranked individually.

Konecny, a 2018 graduate of Billings West High School, is entering her junior season at Southern Oregon, where she's twice qualified for the NAIA national championships. She earned All-America honorable mention recognition at the 2019 championships and was set to compete at the 2020 championships before the coronavirus pandemic canceled the event. Konecny is ranked fifth at 123 pounds to begin the 2020-21 season. Konecny's Southern Oregon team is ranked sixth in the top 20.

Ayers is ranked 16th at 116 pounds. The Highwood native is a freshman at Indiana Tech, helping the Warriors to a No. 16 ranking in the top 20 poll.

Leading the way for ninth-ranked Providence is Iverly Navarro, who is second at 101 pounds. She was also ranked second nationally last season after winning the Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament. Ira Navarro is also ranked eighth at 101 pounds for the Argos.

Ivory Ayers, a 170-pound senior at UP, is ranked fourth, while Sabrina Perez, a redshirt sophomore, is ranked 10th at 170 pounds. Lana Hunt (14th, 109 pounds), Gabrielle Hernandez (15th, 130), Maria Elena Enriquez (13th, 143), Tessa Pillers (18th, 155) and Christine Marquez (11th, 191) are also ranked.

Wayland Baptist University tops the team rankings, with Campbellsville University, Grand View, Menlo College and Life University rounding out the top five. The complete top 20 poll is below. Individual rankings can be found here.
