MSU-Northern’s Isaac Bartel ranked 2nd, highlights latest NAIA wrestling coaches’ poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Montana State University-Northern wrestler Isaac Bartel highlights the latest NAIA wrestling coaches’ poll after being ranked No. 2 in the 197-pound weight class. The Providence Argos are No. 9 in the team polls.

Bartel is one of only three Lights ranked in the latest poll, as Northern slipped to No. 20 in the team poll. Nick Kunz sits 17th at 125 pounds, while Chase Short is No. 10 at 174.

Shonn Roberts leads the way for the University of Providence, holding the No. 3 slot in the 149-pound weight class. Teammate Casey Dobson is fourth at 157, while John Hensley was tabbed No. 6 at 197. Justin Harbison is also ranked sixth in the heavyweight division at 285 pounds.

Seven total Argos paced Steve Komac's club to the No. 9 team ranking. Grand View (Iowa) remains No. 1 with four No. 1 individuals.

Sidney native and Dickinson State wrestler Gresh Jones is ranked No. 4 at 133 pounds, while Bozeman native and Eastern Oregon 174-pounder Keegan Mulhill is seventh.
